How Can swelling And Pain In The Knee Be Treated?

Many thanks, I have been having pains and swollenness on my left and right knees, which spreads to my legs and feets sometimes. Recently. it has included a sharp pain from my left foot through my left leg to my chest area. Any idea what could be causing it please?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

It is better to consult an orthopedician and get an MRI scan to rule out tendon or ligament involvement.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
